Mentor/Mentee Mixer on October 11th

The NMHBA & MALSA's mentorship program will kick-off with a Mentor/Mentee Mixer at Cosmo Tapas on October 11th from 5:30 to 7:30.  If you're interested in volunteering to serve as a mentor, or your a law student interested in being mentored, please contact Jorge Alvarado.

Please join the NMHBA for "An Evening of Wine Tasting" at Seasons Rotisserie and Grill on Friday, August 24, 2012, from 6 to 8pm. Endorsement of Judge Monica Zamora

On July 23, 2012, the NMHBA Board voted to endorse the judicial candidacy of Judge Monica Zamora for the New Mexico Court of Appeals. We are honored to support Judge Zamora's candidacy.

Halloween Mixer - Save the Date

Save the date!  The NMHBA will be holding a Halloween Mixer on Friday, October 26, 2012, from 5:30 to 7:30pm.  The mixer will benefit NMHBA's Law Camp, and is being graciously hosted by Brian & Aleli Colon.   Check back closer-to for more information.

2012-2013 Officers Elected

We are proud to announce the recent election of the following Executive Committee Officers: President – Chris Melendrez, Vice President – Denise Chanez, Secretary – Jessica Terrazas, Treasurer – Damian Lara, and At Large Members – Elaine Lujan and Stefan Chacón.  Rebecca Avitia has also exercised her option to serve on the Executive Committee as the Immediate Past President.  Our new officers began serving in their roles immediately following their election on July 23, 2012.
