New Mexico Hispanic Bar Association: 12th Annual Holiday Fundraiser

The New Mexico Hispanic Bar Association requests your support of its 2012 Holiday Fundraiser. Proceeds from the fundraiser go to community programs aimed at promoting higher education and a high quality legal profession. This year’s fundraiser will be held on December 7, 2012 6:00 PM at Hotel Albuquerque. The event offers a festive holiday celebration with historic attendance levels of up to 300 and a reverse raffle. This year, the fundraiser will honor retiring New Mexico Supreme Court Justice Patricio Serna. The Fundraiser specifically benefits the NMHBA’s scholarship and educational initiatives.

Since its founding in 1978, the NMHBA has been comprised of a volunteer board and volunteer attorneys committed to supporting the Hispanic legal community in New Mexico. Recognizing the importance of education, the NMHBA is dedicated to the education and mentorship of students at all levels, beginning as early as middle school and continuing through law school. In addition, the NMHBA offers scholarship programs for students pursuing a legal education to help offset the high costs of text books and the bar exam.
